I like the shape but I'm not into the crude stitching and raw sole. Too much stuff on the heel too.

Some of you may recall that I've been soliciting opinions on a new pair of shoes over the last couple of weeks. I was about to pull the trigger on a pair of suede semi-brogues..but the juxtaposition of balmoral lacing and suede leather seems like a conflicting combination to me. Then I thought I might buy a pair of tan wingtips, then I went back to looking for something suede. I considered chukkas, but I can't see myself wearing ankle boots. Bottom line - I think I've narrowed it down to three.

I think any one of these could fill a niche in my shoe wardrobe (I don't have any suede) and still be versatile enough to be worn with just about everything I own. They're all Alden, and all just about the same price. What's your first reaction to all three?

Haha, apparently #2 elicits a love-it or hate-it reaction. All three are alden. I think I'm leaning towards #1, but I'm not sure whether I'd prefer a wingtip or a moc toe.
