Just had a few beers tonight:

Clown Shoes Eagle Claw classified as an American amber but more like a dry hopped red IPA
Acme IPA x 2
A saison that I can't remember the full name. Kind of fell somewhere between unforgettable and decent.

Saison was Goose Island Sofie. I'll give it a B

Ransom Old Tom Gin. Experimenting with the idea of a martini that isn't made with the usual London dry gin.

There was too much Korbel at a big party I went to last night. One would imagine for the ticket-prices, they would serve something better, but I suppose Korbel was their sponsor.

SO how was it? I would think 3:1 or so, and a drop or two of orange bitters with a twist. The sweetness of Old Tom would, I feel compliment a twist better than the savory olive. ~ H

Glenlivet 12: It hardly seems like a proper single-malt when I've got Tali, HP, and Laga in my bar, but for a delicious sweet afternoon whisky, I'm really starting to appreciate it. I prefer rocks over water or neat for this one.

Odell 90 Shilling ale: My favorite daily beer. Try it if you haven't, all of Odell's brews are top-notch IMO.

Playing around tonight.

2 oz Rare Eagle
1/2 oz Mariscino liqueur
3/4 oz Vya Sweet
4 dashes Reagen orange bitters

Very nice. I'm thinking of making another vanilla pod and orange rind infusion with the Rare Eagle and trying this again with that.
