Interesting and a good looking suit thus far.

It would be good to see a full set of photographs when it is finished including without the coat - front rear and profile to show how well the trousers fit. the detail of the interior of the coat is interesting as well and points to his attention to detail.

Thanks, good point and one I hadn't even considered. I will check this next week.

This bit is important. I still have a jacket that I can only wear with the shirt collar undone because otherwise...

This looks very good. It's not too late to stop the pulling at the button. It makes you look like you gained weight, and not in a good way.

This was actually a deliberate choice - to each his own!

I think the shoulders/back look great. I don't disagree with you regarding a little pulling at the button. I think sometimes it looks good, especially if the sides aren't strongly shaped. But, I do think you should add a little length to the pants. It doesn't mean it has to be a full break, but something between high waters and a full break is achievable.

I don't understand the comments about the back - it may be the shot angle but I don't see any room for movement there. Looks like the seams will rip open the moment he will cross his arms

But isn't that about how short your trousers are, and they are not as slim fitting as OPs?

You're right, it does look snug. I realize the photos are actually very poor. I'll get out and take some better ones next week with the auto-timer, where I go through the range of motion of the jacket.

Hard to compare, since OP's pictures are crappy, and your pants are admittedly very clean fitting. Do you happen to have any shots of the back of your trousers while they are on?

What I don't understand is how there is almost zero folds through the length of your leg with your legs relatively straight. Any locking of the knees causes the area of fabric under the knees to indent slightly, following the shape of my leg. Yours are ninja. I don't get it.
