How to wear bright warm colours?

Hello, long time-lurker, first-time poster here.

While browsing through various menswear stores, I constantly see really bright red or fuchsia accessories that really catch my eye. I know that catching the eye is exactly the nature of such colours, but I cannot deny that they appeal a lot to me and I would love to wear some of them from time to time. The problem is that while the ties are simply beautiful on their own, I have trouble imagining them as parts of whole ensembles. How could I offset the brightness and vividness of such items so that they don't attract too much attention? I considered white shirts with light pink stripes or checks, pocket squares with pink or red trims, also some light purple, but I would like some advice before I splurge on a scarlet satin or a fuchsia / pink pindot tie that I've wanted for so long. Any help would be appreciated, gents.

Also, would a mid-bright red cashmere scarf be too feminine for everyday wear?

I see you have combined a brown sportcoat with pink, which was something I haven't considered. I tend to wear mostly white shirts and had no problems with matching ties to them, however I think that shades of bright red or pink require a less contrasting background so that the tie doesn't look too flashy. A plain red satin is simply beautiful, but pairing it with a white shirt and navy suit seems unimaginative to my eye. Same with grey, I think. Am I right in this?

What I do is wear the "covered" items in bright/wild colors. For instance, not all of the sweater is visible. Not all of the pocket square or tie is visible. Same goes for the shirt & socks.

What you don't see is that I am wearing khaki pants or dark jeans with the shots with sweaters.

To tone down a brightly colored tie, wear a pastel shirt from the same color family, i.e. a pink shirt with a bright red tie.
