There's the paradox. Unless you wear them in town, no one will appreciate the conspicuous consumption. Otherwise, drop about $20 at your local farmer's coop for "irrigation boots" and put the rest of the $400 to a pair of Aldens.

Just seeing these boots brings back bad childhood memories.
AvariceBespoke, what specific need have you for this type of boot?
No matter the make, rubber doesn't breathe and moisture from your feet will be trapped in these.
They are all equally ugly but if you absolutely must do this, get 2 pr of the cheapest ones.
At least you would then have 2 pr in rotation. If money is no concern then get the best ones ofcourse.
