Is the TT-S / TT-RS available in the US?

All of the famous old fast Audis (B5 S4 / RS4, etc.) are turbo cars, not supercharged. The 3.0T engine was a big change since it was moving to superchargers instead of turbos, but most of those enthusiasts you mention are happy with any kind of forced induction.

yes, it's a 2007 import with 26k.

Not since 2003.

Last year you could get an S4 avant in US was 2008 (stick or auto). Last year for S6 avant was 2003. It's interesting that the only version of the S6 US brought to US back then was the avant.

The only current Audi wagons available in US are the A4 (newer 2.0T engine with automatic only) and the A6 3.0 supercharged, which is actually pretty cool for a family car.

AFAIK Audi, and BMW for that matter, are through, at least for the time being, trying (and mostly failing) in selling their high performance wagons here. Rest assured,we will get all possible variations of their SUVs

.

To the OP - get what you like. My preference is darker blues like the deep sea blue pearl.

If you want, I know of a Phantom Black B7 RS4 that is just going up for sale. It has been kept in perfect condition (higher mileage, though). I can put you in touch with the owner if you want.

I mean this in the nicest way possible. Every Audi of a generation looks the same. The difference between an A4 and a S8 is the transform tool in Photoshop. Get a color that stands out.

Get the blue. When the market is saturated with grays and blacks, you'll have the rare color that is highly sought after.

I didnt make any change yet, but did get a call from my SA today letting me know they are getting a phantom black, optioned exactly the same as mine on order, except it has the Ti kit (i.e., the titanium trim kit, everything blacked out with the RS4 wheels)... I am now pondering whetehr I should just take this one, not sure about the Ti kit and black on black on black... but it would be nice having the car 2+months in advance if I am going to switch to black anyway.

I'd really like to see the Ti kit in person.

I was out the other day with a Phantom black / Ti / aluminum optics B8 S4. It looked good.

He had the optional RS5/TTRS wheels on it.

I may have some snaps showing the combo. I will check through my shots tonight if I can for you.

If I didn't get anything I will be seeing him again this Sunday at a drive where I am the official photographer, so I should be able to take some for you then.

That would be very helpful, I didnt even think of adding the alum-optics option to it (I believce it is dealer installed).

How did that look with the alum look door blades?
