"Dent" on the right shoulder

I've noticed that my on the right shoulder of my jacket, close to where the sleeve is attached, there is a downward dent. It's only on the right shoulder of the jacket. The size of the dent depends on how I stand. If I stand normal with my arms straight down the dent is smaller than if I'm crossing my arms.

The dent doesn't dissapear no matter what I do. I can pull the sleve and the dent gets smaller but comes back when letting go. I can push out the dent from the inside of the jacket but again, it comes back within a few seconds. The dent was not there (or at least noticeable) when I bought it, so I think it's come from wearing it a couple of times. It's only 2 weeks old...

I've tried to take an image, but it's hard to capture so you can see it clearly. But it's definitely there when I'm looking in the mirror. The fit of the jacket seems good. I can't feel any pulling or tightening any places. Maybe it's a problem with the padding in the shoulder? And can it be fixed?

What fabric is that jacket made of? It reminds me a little of something called polymodal? Is the pad set in properly? You could get a tailor to take in the excess fabric reducing the seam in the pad. I do that at work all the time and it works.

I've noticed this on jackets of mine that are either too tight in the chest, or shoulders. If that is not the case it could just be the construction.

What kind of hanger do you use when you hang the jacket?

There is no one cause of this and not one clear method to correct the dent. From the limited view of your picture there is no way to accurately diagnose the cause, but it is a major PIA to fix. At the least you have to remake the shoulder with some sort of adjustment. Like squaring up the shoulder, shifting shoulder, putting more fullness on the back part, etc.. Could be any one of these or combination of these things. Don't be surprised if it takes more than one attempt to fix the issue.

I asked the sales person in the shop where I bought it, and he said it could be due to the hanger not being wide enough to support the whole "shoulder" area. He said I should get a better hanger which could help with the issue.

Never wore any messenger bags or other bags with this suit... But sound logical that this could result in a dent. Will keep this in mind.

Here's full body shot. You can't see the dent here as I've pushed it out from within the jacket but it comes back as soon as I move my arm a little bit... Don't know if this helps to identify the problem and close in on a solution.

Nope... Will that might help or will make it worse?

pressing won't do anything. The dented coat looks like corduroy and the suit is not corduroy. Two different jackets, correct?

No, it hasn't. It straight of the rack. The sleeves has been shortened but thats all...
