The entire first floor was carpeted. The bathrooms were pink chintz. And the kitchen was blue colonial.

Beautiful, lefy. What city is that?
Can't tell you how many times I cursed the previous owners who just cut every corner they could structurally and just put in the worst bloody decor I've ever seen. It was a lot of work bringing the place back up to "livable" condition. My fear is that the next owners will say, "there's too much of this dark wood, let's paint it white" or "let's rip out all these green plants over here" after I planted some 200 hostas. I really shouldn't be selling but my wife got a job in SF that she cant turn down. lefty
South Orange, NJ. Interestingly, the house was used in a 1940's brochure to entice people to move to the Oranges from NYC.
Well if you want to move back I know a nice house for sale.
Couple of quick shots of my place which is now on the market.
Lefty, that is a gorgeous house.
Nice place. Where is it?
