Can't tell you how many times I cursed the previous owners who just cut every corner they could structurally and just put in the worst bloody decor I've ever seen. It was a lot of work bringing the place back up to "livable" condition. My fear is that the next owners will say, "there's too much of this dark wood, let's paint it white" or "let's rip out all these green plants over here" after I planted some 200 hostas. I really shouldn't be selling but my wife got a job in SF that she cant turn down.

South Orange, NJ. Interestingly, the house was used in a 1940's brochure to entice people to move to the Oranges from NYC. lefty

as someone who just spent the past month undoing awful design damage in just one room of my house, i can empathize.
