I think with the appropriate alterations and right combo of other clothing, this could look good for wearing on rare occasions. I say keep it.

Of course, Lufty, if you lack the sack......pass it on.

It would really be a fun SC though.

Kinda makes you look like a wannabe fox hunter. Otherwise merely looks garish. There was a lad at my prep school who had a bright red blazer. He was hated by all.

(And yes, you purists, I know it's not proper for hunting.)

Well, I am hated by all. And I am known to be garish. So maybe it's apropos.

Agree - Shorten the sleeves. Then wear it while drinking a bit too much with the in-laws at Christmas.

Keep it Lufty.

Since the security guard contest was such a success, I'm thinking the Bellman contest is just around the corner.

Something told me to come back to this thread and have another look.
You are an impeccable dresser Lufty. I'm sure you have a vision that is beyond my understanding.
If you stick with it, please let us see the results. It's probably going to turn out to be alot of fun.

You know what they say, "if you have to ask...."

Just roll with it, Lufty. I bought an 8x4 today, you know I am all about crazy DBs.

I say that you should let the 70's lie in peace. Limit it to Christmas/New Years parties. Do whatever alterations for fit you deem appropriate financially for that use.
