Just a note. There are a ton of Q51 but I've never heard of a V51, ever. You can get 800 with something like a Q51/V49.

I scored Q48, it's something like 99.99 percentile

Anyone submitting Stanford GSB apps today? Also, what the **** is with these stupid multiple choice questions on the recommendations. Would've been nice for the schools to give a heads up on those.

Hmmm 99.9% on quantitative is pretty damn impressive. I'd done ok on the verbal part before (multiple 99%), but don't remember ever breaking the 90% barrier on Q.. LOL

Oops, I mistyped. I scored V48, which is 99.99. 48 on quantitative may not even be 85th percentile.

In fact, I don't think you can get 99.99 percentile on Q. Because the scores are so high, Q50 is something like 95%, and then Q51 is 100%, and that's it.

I googled "V51 GMAT" and looked through forum posts to see happens if you get V51. People have reported scores with 51V and I found it unlikely they would lie. YMMV

Two totally ******* different things. If you're smart enough to get into a top PhD program, you should probably know that already.

I don't know about you but an MBA isn't a party (at least not the first year).

Where did you go and what's your definition of a party?

Plenty of partying for me too. Often times on a company's dime. Frequently with professors.
