An excellent and under-rated film too. Edward Fox, Michael Londsdale; the whole cast, excellent.
Those pants remind me of old style schoolboy or boarding school and I agree, are fantastic.

Besides, Italian union regulations restrict them from giving out more than 6 'explosive' rounds, so you have to economize. That's why you only get one watermelon, otherwise the OAS has to rob more banks...

As long as the inert rounds and explosive rounds weighed the same and were the same size/shape (unlikely, I admit), shouldn't it be possible to sight the rifle with the former and then hit the target accurately with the latter?
And to stay on topic to the original post, I'll have to show this clip to my wife, who thinks that I wear my pants too high.

Just watched this a couple nights ago. Really enjoyed it. Fox's commitment to the cravat was impressive. When he wrecked his car and had to change his shirt, I thought, "If he comes out wearing a different cravat, I'm going to be really impressed." Sure enough, he did.
