Never knew OCs were in the $1k mark, there are a number of better choices at or under that, imo (like Buttero, which did a sick high lace blind eyelet in a green suede for FW09 iirc) but sick boots nonetheless

Not a fan of Ferragamo unless it is the Tramezza line. These look like the Studio or Originale line.

To follow up: I'm not sure the Studio line will hold up well to repeated wear, and I think they'll crease poorly for what you'll pay for them. Lavarazione Originale is okay, but there are better buys at that price point. Tramezza, however, is a great buy at their price point, and even better on discount.

Thus, if I was shopping at full retail at each respective price point, I could find something better for the Studio and Lavarazione Originale price points, but the Tramezza is a good buy at their price point.

Thank you. The leather is fantastically supple. And the boots are actually on the wide side, accommodating my feet nicely.

How do you guys take care of your leather soled boots? What is the best solution. I want them to last as long as possible. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but should it be done right away? Thank you.

a glued piece of junk with corrected grain cheap leather - vs - a Goodyear welted, Horween leathered boot that will last 10 yrs

you have a very simple choice :)

just know that the color of the Wolverine is darker in person than it appears

This isn't specific to leather-soled boots, but use shoe trees, rotate them so you're wearing them every other day, clean them whenever they get salty in the winter, and treat and polish them on the regular.
