Looks nice, aj. The blue shirt in the earlier pics looks even better, I think.

(And pull your shirt collar up when you go tie-less...)

Thank you all for your comments. I received another SC today. I thought it was too short though it looked alright in other respects. However, in the pic the length doesnt look as short but it looks tight. The buttoning position also looks high but I think the Italians (RTW at least) like it high. Anyways, it is cotton and I got it to wear casually unbuttoned with slim cotton jeans and open neck shirt. Dont judge it by the trousers I am wearing in the pic. What do you think ?

This one must go away, doesn't look good. Buttoning point and other issues. First jacket is good, what else do you have?

I suppose this coat is fashionable, but I don't think the cut is flattering at all. I'd get rid of it.

Buttoning point on new one is too high, I think. Is it Thom Browne? Maybe not, lapels may be too big.

The cut reminds me of my '60s Stanley Blacker.

Oh by weight, i meant weight of the jacket in relation to the temperature in India. God knows i should be the last person talking about weight ... lol. How cold does it get in India?

The second one must go ... too short in length and buttoning point too high. try wearing it un-buttoned with jeans ... maybe passable in that respect.

Looks like you have really broad shoulders, so a longer coat will provde better balance/proportions. Also minimal padding, should be the way to go.

This one is Boglioli and I will be sending this back. But IME the Italian RTW makers generally have a shorter jacket and the buttoning position is high and in some cases sky high. I also feel the same about this recently introduced Howard Yount SC which I would buy but I fear that it would be quite similar fit wise to the Boglioli

Aj...your fits suck. I say that with love.

You would benefit from (a) a longer jacket, (b) lower buttoning point, (c) wider lapels, (c) traveling to the Kong to those things done.

Plus, you look at male models too much. You're not built like one, and that's good because it's no fun being emaciated.

holy god the button stance. Holy god.

The first one is actually pretty good. Keep that one. That gray one though...no way.

Edit: After closer inspection, your jacket looks almost exactly looks like the jacket from RLPL tweed 3 piece that I recently got. Nice.

Second jacket too short, waist too high (almost near your chest), sleeves too short, lapel gorge too high -- it just doesn't look good on you.

FOr both the jackets ? THere is a RLPL jacket on page 1 and 4. Dont know whether you saw that. IMO it looks much better than the Boglioli one.

I do think the fit on the first one is better than 80 percent of what we see on SF, and some tailoring could improve it further.

I prefer a low buttoning point. I want the jacket to be button around half inch higher than my navel and the 2nd button to hit around the belt.

You have a similar body type to me. I also prefer the 2nd button to be right around the belt so that none of the tie shows. Do you have longer legs or torso?
