This is my first shirt bought at Il Pantheon, a lovely store in Oslo, Norway. It`s a MTM Francesco Merolla, and compared to my MTM Zegnas, this is in another leauge. Does anyone know anything about this shirt maker?Originally Posted by Skyhigh

Yes, I think Robert Whittaker has my collar and pattern nailed down, both in terms of fit and the style that I want. The fit is such a dramatic difference from all my RTW shirts (mostly from the usual Neapolitan RTW subjects...Borrelli, Barba and Kiton) that I'm loathe to wear the RTW (except for OCBDs) anymore.
This batch was a mix of two button barrel/no gauntlet button and French cuffs with gauntlet buttons. Next batch in Simonet-Godard chambray will be all barrel cuffs.
Dege's service is also exceptional.

Thanks for the tip about the Acorn oxfords...I'm not sure that its in the cards for me to bother with any more BDs for quite awhile other than the batch of RTW Black Fleece numbers I picked up from the first season. The oxford would be interesting in a Whittaker spread collar, but that niche for me is getting filled with a bunch of shirts in the SG chambray.
I'll do some Acorn Grasmere or Alumo Zephyr in various whites after the chambray come in.
