Elegant collars Vox. So your pattern is now perfected hence the multiple shirts.

Thanks Vox for reminding me that I need some more white shirts. I do like the hairline-striped blue one, though. Who made the fabrics?

Thank you for the kind words.

Yes, I think Robert Whittaker has my collar and pattern nailed down, both in terms of fit and the style that I want. The fit is such a dramatic difference from all my RTW shirts (mostly from the usual Neapolitan RTW subjects...Borrelli, Barba and Kiton) that I'm loathe to wear the RTW (except for OCBDs) anymore.

This batch was a mix of two button barrel/no gauntlet button and French cuffs with gauntlet buttons. Next batch in Simonet-Godard chambray will be all barrel cuffs.

Dege's service is also exceptional.

The shirts are all Acorn Grange, except for the dinner shirt which is in a sheer D.J. Anderson voile.

How is it?

I've really been wanting to try something from Acorn other than their oxfords--which I think you might like, given your oft-expressed nostalgia for lighter-weight oxfords of the past.

They're great.

Thanks for the tip about the Acorn oxfords...I'm not sure that its in the cards for me to bother with any more BDs for quite awhile other than the batch of RTW Black Fleece numbers I picked up from the first season. The oxford would be interesting in a Whittaker spread collar, but that niche for me is getting filled with a bunch of shirts in the SG chambray.

I'll do some Acorn Grasmere or Alumo Zephyr in various whites after the chambray come in.

The round model is my default choice. Less of a fuss when getting dressed.
