I went and tried on 5 pair of the choicest (IMO) woolen plaid. All were very uncomfortable on the nuts in my tagged size. This coming from a dude with 10 pairs of Incotex. I might go back and try a size up.

They do run small. I wear a 33 waist everywhere else, and a 34 Mabitex is just a little snug on me.

Glad to see I'm not the only insane one who scooped up 4+ pairs of Mabitex from Daffy's recently. My tailor is going to been in for some serious hemming when I drop some trousers off for him tomorrow.

I think I may go back there for more...

+1 Rise: All are about 10.75 to 11, except A (which is 10) My BR Monogram slim fit pants have a rise of 10. Pant A is some HEAVY cotton. These pants feel bulletproof. These are some seriously slim fit pants. The rise is fine, the leg opening is fine. It's the pocket/upper thigh that are close cut. All my other pants are 33W, and they are way too big (They cinch with a belt, etc.) I got the 34W Mabitex, which are smaller... There is some give in the waist, but the hips/thighs are still "concerningly" close fitting. Does wool stretch a bit, if need be? My BR Monogram slim fit pants are prob the same measurement, but feel more comfortable b/c they are lined to the knees. Tight wool touching your legs is not ideal when it's 76 degrees out. I literally started sweating on my forehead...

Very little if at all.

So don't count on it.

There is a seam allowance of an inch or two.

If you need more room, let them out.

If you're relying on stretching to make clothing fit, you're doing it horribly wrong.

Also, low-rise+slim-fit+loud check=a hip, modern 70s guy.

Well the one on west 57th hasn't been cleaned out yet. At least as of 4 pm today.

Still for those of us that live outside of the US, for that price in Australia I'm looking at polyester blends. I don't think I have ever seen mabitex for sale in oz - maybe under a different label for another company.

Picked up 9 pairs for my closet, I was severely lacking in the trousers department.
The wools are incredible, the low rise works well for me, I look taller & more athletic.

I would pass on the Tan/burgundy/brown exploded tattersall plaid, I couldn't make it work.
Figured I can't go wrong with the gray and blue colorways
