Im a college student, but working the ol Host Club a few nights a week gives me enough to pay rent, bills and etc as well as get clothes. My best customers often buy me nice clothes as well.

What is it?

It's not hard to look/dress like you're rich even with a low salary if you throw a significant portion of your income at it. I'm guessing most people like that live paycheque to paycheque. When I see someone wearing expensive clothes I don't assume they're well off, I just assume they're willing to spend a lot of their money on it. Nothing wrong with that, it's their money. Personally I'd rather buy cheaper brands of clothes and have a lot of savings in the bank so I can spend my retirement in the carribean. That doesn't mean you have to dress like a bum, you can dress nice without it costing you an arm and a leg.
