summer's over but felt like having a gin and tonic. haven't had one in awhile and wow it does NOT disappoint. probably nowhere near a traditional gin and tonic but holy f*ck this is good.

juice from one lime
2 shots Hendricks
1 4oz Q Tonic
a few dashes of Peychaud's
stir on ice

I am in agreement with you. Never understood all of the praise this beer gets.

Agreed, and although Delerium Noel is pretty tasty, most anything by Ommegang Brewery is as good or better. Also, Russian River Brewing Co.

It tastes like grapes. I think it is decent, but nothing ground breaking or spectacular. Never had any Russian River, sadly, but Ommegang is solid.

Is this why you're trying to be an unavailable recluse?

That's a crying shame!

They don't ship to anyone outside of CA, and IIRC, the only place they distribute to east of the Mississippi River is Philly.
RRBC is a nice place. I mean, the bar itself is kind of a shithole and the food is terrible, but the beers are great. It's too bad that it is stuck in the perpetual shithole that is Santa Rosa.

Haha. I have no problem with people voicing their preferences but I find it funny that one can "hate" a beer. There are some things in the world that are just unhateable...blowjobs and bacon, for example...and beer.

Hmmm....yeah. I happen to like DT -- it was one of the first beers that made me think beer was good. Either I posted about DT or Chimay in the Beer thread and got hammered, I remember. Yikes. ~ H
