I don't know about on this forum, but on TheFashionSpot in the old days a very valued member named Kit, who was one of the most knowledgable, classy members of any board on which I've been, passed and the Mods spread that word around. Fuuuma and LK probably remember him; they were there back then.
It's often surprising just how much our "e-friends" can mean to us and, IMHO, that forum was never really the same. Now, of course, it's a heaping mound of teenage crap... but that's another story.

Actually, something similar happened on a shaving forum - but the twist was that the member's name was Will - and he made and sold shaving soaps that were universally praised. That said, recipe followed Will into the grave. Javyn knows about this.
