I had never been to Daffy's until this weekend. The SoHo store carried a lot
of Italian brands that I had never heard of.

I was going to buy a topcoat made by "Sartoria Nobilaire" but ultimately passed because it was too tight in the shoulders. Wool cashmere marked down to 160
from 600. Still, the no-name brand had me worried.

Does Daffy's buy mainly from Italian department stores?

They're likely no-name brands trying to pass off as Italian brands.

If you're interested, I have some Ungaro Uomo and Tasso Elba for you.

You guys can laugh at Daffy's all you want and yes they do carry mostly lower quality Italian off brands but over the years I've purchased top quality Borrelli, Cucinelli, Belvest and Luciano Barbera (just to name a few) for an absolute song...and who here can forget the Incotex frenzy from last year...$15.99 per pair when Neimans had the exact same pants for $250.00 a pop!!

I find that quality of stock varies widely from store to store.

Don't forget about $39.99 Truzzi shirts, Mabitex and Bamford & Sons pants more recently.
