No, it's a honey brown "alligator" from The Watch Boys. I like to switch straps quite often, and I also prefer a regular buckle do the deployment buckle. So I bought an IWC buckle and a bunch of very nice straps from TWB. Excellent stuff! The deployment buckle and original blue strap is unused, should I ever want to sell the watch. (No, I won't. Ever, ever

The more I see the new Memovox International, the more I like it:

Nice. Cannot go wrong with the Speedy. I've owned two but lost both. I would prefer original hesalite crystal and soild caseback though (3750.50)

That TWB looks almost identical to the brown strap I've seen IWC use. Nice color that.

Agreed, great watch. There's a good write-up on it on my favorite watch site here: http://kronosclub.blogspot.com/2009/...rnational.html

It's too bad KronosBlog is updated so rarely, since the writer has pretty excellent taste in watches and doesn't just fawn over everything that's new and shiny. He offers some insightful and witty criticism when appropriate.

Indeed a gorgeous watch. But you know what bugs me? The rotating disk with the city names does not re-sync the time when turned, unlike the Master Control Geographic. It serves the same function as an exterior rotating bezel.

Funny B&R has a heritage series considering they are an 18 year old company...

I've been thinking about getting the 111. After seeing those pics I'm going to pull the tigger. Nice watch and pics.
