Anyone ever get a cuff hole widened so you could wear a silk knot?

The cuff holes in my BB shirts are so small that I can't push the silk knots through without risking damage to them. Is it possible to widen the holes and restitch them? Or would that, in turn, make the holes too big for normal cufflinks?

I have not had this done but it should be doable by any tailor as long as you have the space on the cuff to do it.

Good possibility that the machine that stitches the holes and cuts the fabric in a single process simply didn't cut the hole large enough although the stitching is indeed large enough. Just take a pair of scissors and carefully cut the rest of the fabric. Just make sure you don't cut the stitching.

If I'm mistaken, my apologies.

One of my cufflinks will surely fit your shirt.

I wouldn't wear silk knots even if you put a gun to my balls.

Not everyone here can afford a dozen pairs of cufflinks.

You want to try and ease it in at first, and then it'll be progressively easier to slide in and out in subsequent times.

Are you using the BB silk knots too? If so, either you have a defective shirt or you're being too careful. I use knots with my BB french cuff shirts all the time. They're supposed to fit through tightly.

No, they're the ones that are always on eBay.
