Recommend me the good stuff at uniqlo, I'm going for my first time in a couple weeks. I know to look out for their basics, I'm looking to score a bunch of plain shirts there and a couple plain OCBDs. But what else should I look out for?

EDIT: can people also explain +J to me? From my understanding it's uniqlo's collab with an outside designer, but I could be completely wrong.

I'm looking for a Navy/White or Black/White horizontal striped, long-sleeve shirt (sailor shirt.) Any suggestions?

What are your guy's thoughts on the Wool Sperry's? I'm convinced that they're bad-ass but the wool is throwing me off.

Jeans are a big one, the S-001 and T-000 are fantastic for the price, I wear T-000s every day.
+J is Uniqlo's ongoing collaboration with the famous minimalist designer Jil Sander.

Buy it if you like it, I think boat shoes in general are really played out at this point.

****, I already have too many pairs of jeans. How are their button ups? I'm specifically looking at their OCBDs right now.

If they fit you or can be tailored to fit you, their premium cloth shirts are a good buy. All the Uniqlo shirts and tees are too roomy for me, though.

Uniqlo, actually, is probably your best bet. Other than that I really don't know, knits (as well as shoes and leather goods) really reward buying slightly above your usual bracket.

first post. have an anniversary with my gf coming up and she's asking for gift ideas for me. i'm thinking i need a pair of brown leather oxfords, maybe saddle shoes that can be a bit dressy and also be casual. aka something i can wear a good amount. we're both students, so i'm looking at ~$100. any recommendations would be appreciated highly!
