Oops, in addition to the above question, how is the Japanese loopwheel inspired fabric on their sweatshirts? Is it even close? Thick and soft, durable?

Can someone let me know if this is in-store only? I can't seem to find it on-line.

it's a decent buy with coupon. I wouldn't pay retail for it. The vintage fleece sweatshirt has a waffle knit texture to it; Feels flimsly and doesnt have that warm, plush feel that a good sweatshirt should have. Also, it comes oversized. I had to wash/hot dry twice to get a decent fit.

I'd go M. I've got 40 - 50 lbs on you and I can fit into a L.

Thanks for the info guys, almost put my online order through. Will wait for a sale, which is usually around when??

EDIT: Actually, how are the regular fleece sweatshirts (sunfaded fleece) vs. the vintage marled fleece?

Stopped off at the outlet on my way back from a Labor Day weekend with family. Didn't see a lot of interest, to be honest. Did get a nice cotton cream colored belt on clearance and a couple socks, but overall I was not impressed.

BTW, the outlet sizing seems to be all over the place with shirts. Some seemed really short and a couple seemed about what the normal JC shirts fit like.

jcrew makes clothes especially for the outlet stores. they have double diamond on the tag. however, i think that jcrew is one of the few retailers that offers clothes that actually look like clothes they sell.. just NEVER BUY A SILK TIE AT A JCREW OUTLET! they have the magical ability to NEVER TIE.

Just got the 484 cords in the mail. Not so sure about them to be honest. I dont think the extra slim fit is really becoming of corduroys the way it is of jeans or chinos. Anyone think otherwise? Corduroys with a taper seem odd.

Don't make this difficult. If you like it keep it, if you don't return it. Geez.

I stopped by an outlet store last Saturday and ended up getting a pair of argyle socks on clearance. The other pair on clearance was pink, so I passed them.

After salivating over it for the last year or so, I used the 20% catalogue coupon to order the Mister Freedom Off-Duty Workshirt. So happy.

Eww... You salivated all over your coupon for a whole year!? That's sick, dude.

Better than what I did with my Victoria's Secret catalogue for a whole year.

I hate jcrew-- as its been stated all throughout this thread the sizes are all over the places. BTW I have slim sun-faded pants (Nantucket Red and Orange) for $40. They're 33x30 and have only been worn once or twice. I've lost weight and as a result have no use for them.
