Is this a Caruso label?

The labels thread moves too slowly, and I need to know rather quickly. If not Caruso, then who?

i have never seen a label like this on a caruso.

also, the fabric and style #'s do not follow the number convention on my carusos. but perhaps these are the numbers of RL, so i'm not sure this means anything definitive.

isn't there a more typical / complete label - you know, the kind with 8-10 numbers arranged in a table in a dot-matrixey font?

I don't know... I asked if there are any other labels, so we'll see. I already purchased it. The label's material is the same as Caruso, I think, but the other qualifiers aren't there.

Your snark is sad and lost on the ears of those who truly value learning something. If you have nothing to contribute, then bugger off.

Out of interest, why do you need to know quickly?

My bad, I did not realize that your threads are so sacrosanct.

I'll tread gently next time.

Good to know.

Eh, it's not a need any more. Now I'm just curious.

Ah. Here was I thinking you spotted it here http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=197868, quickly PM'd the seller for label pics, posted them in this thread to see if the seller had undervalued the jacket before committing and then decided to buy it anyway on the off chance.

My interest? I was waiting for you to start threatening bleachboy if it turned out not to be Caruso and demanding 90% of your money back. And to keep the jacket.

But alas, no sport for me today.

That's pretty funny. What else ya got? Should I post the PM where I said "hold on, let me check to see which maker this is?" followed by an "OK" from the seller?

Nothing else, just a guess.

Your deerskin bag episode gave me inspiration for weeks. The world needs more characters.

It seems that you've had inspiration for months - almost a year, in fact.

Is there something wrong with wanting to know the label/maker of something prior to purchase?
