These prices could be just Moscov prices and the stuff might be considerably cheaper in Budapest.

Sorry, apart from the web-site, I know nothing about the firm at all.

no "nothing", despite the website, now. starting prize in budapest was qouted € 860,-, so 1.500 is the usual oligarchi upcharge for moscow. do you btw remember the shop's name/adress, thanks

860 is still a lot for RTW Hungarian shoes in my opinion.

I do not remember shop's name. In case it gives you any direction, it was located in Novinskiy Passage, which is close to the US Embassy.

my understanding, it's full bespoke with trial shoe. it's a good benchmark between vienna and budapest.

Anyone care to explain the trend here, in terms of going "sockless", but wearing "sockettes". Trying to portray a "care-free" image?

Impressive.

Looks a little like water buffalo...maybe?

Spot on with the leather. Its buffalo.

As for the stitching, or the lack there of, it was because Tony's commission has to out do this:

Actually I overlook the "yours."
The pair is not mine. That pair of shoes are his "winning" shoes.
I don't have that much money to order a pair, although I would love to.

No worries at all, A.
