I bought that "record" by the Flying Lizards because the voice and lyrics reminded me of a woman friend from South America. It wasn't really for "listening" ... it was the kind of song that had its place ... every now and then ... usually for the benefit of a group of friends.

But yes ... it is deliciously crap as you say.

I have the 45 as well. After one party in college, I couldn't find it anywhere in our dorm suite amidst the forest of beer and liquor bottles.

Later in the week, I found it inside the fridge. Not sure what the thought process there was.

That party, if I remember correctly, also feature the worlds hottest martinis. We had a big pitcher mixed up but left it on the mantle of a roaring fireplace.

Waste not, want not.

Things like this still happen to me ... from time to time.

Worn off? Why darling I still enjoy ... of course ... I suppose that might explain the occasional fridge find.

The Flying Lizards. My elder brother had the album. Always liked it, bit like Ian Dury & the Blockheads. Quality

I had the Flying Lizards as well. Ian Dury was more of a legitimate musician; I think I got his first album from a review copy sent to the college paper I was working on.

I liked Human Sexual Response and Mission of Burma back in the day. My brother was a roadie/lighting guy for HSR for a while. Pretty good music, great live performances.

It sounds better. The vinyl's crystal structures are better aligned.

Thank you for these.

In that picture of Luca it looks like his jacket has a short front balance problem. I had a jacket with a similar issue that a tailor just corrected and it hung like that. Doesn't it look like it's pulling upward at the buttoning point?

Er... isn't that precisely the point? Unless you mean it's his posture in that picture (a posture he does not usually adopt). Baron -- do you mean a long front? I thought a short front resulted in the quarters scissoring.
