Bought a bunch of j crew 'classic fit' trousers. Little did I know that 'classic fit' is douchebag for tight in the legs and ass. They are my normal waist size, but seem to 'sit on the hip'. My concern is that they ride way up ****** crack. Is this normal? I am not used to tight pants so I don't know... I turned my back to a mirror and looked and saw that they were slightly in my crack. Are they supposed to be like this?

If the seat of the pants is riding into your behind then it is not normal

You might want to go half or full size up.

The pants are suppose to be tight, but not that tight.

Probably less care. They are much more durable than plastic.

Could anyone be so kind as to recommend me a good brand for shoe polish and such? I'm fairly new in the game of leather shoes and care.

Saphir is one of the best.

Most polish from the shoe makers themselves are good, but they are usually just rebranding.

Like Leather Soul's are made by Saphir.

Just picked up two NWT Gucci ties from fleabay. The tags say they cost $38.00 each at Saks. I am wondering if anyone on here can date them based on the price.

I don't know much about Gucci, though a lot about Hermes. So if Gucci ties and Hermes ties are always have similar price, then I would say $38 will translate to late 70s or early 80s. Since I know for the fact that a 1985 Hermes tie costs $50 flat.

I'm looking at an Aquascutum wool overcoat on ebay. In general, do the fabrics have a different texture or appearance than regular wool coats?

Autumn colors: greens & browns. Maybe some rust details.
