That was cute, did your ladyboy friends teach you that one?
Should I be flattered that you always seem to post an immediate response to my posts, or worried?

Really can't decide on some boots for winter. I want a pair of brown leather boots with rubber soles. Will be wearing them daily to and from university, and will be wearing mainly with jeans, Oxford shirt, jumper and tweed jacket, but also just jeans and a tee from time to time. So far come up with: http://www.pediwear.co.uk/barker/products/2914.php http://www.alden-of-carmel.com/index...p_Boot_217.htm http://www.pediwear.co.uk/trickers/products/171.php http://www.pediwear.co.uk/trickers/products/2828.php Any thoughts/suggestions?

^^^ Trickers Stow in burgendy. Definetly a more versatile colour then the lighter ones. The Aldens are nice too, but I prefer the British country boot style personally.

Either way, must be nice to have that kind of money to drop when you're a student.

You reckon Burgundy? I will have to check them out, I have a feeling they'll be a little bit too red.

Will be a bit of a stretch to afford these, but I've been working some 50+ hour weeks over summer, so I want to treat myself!

I doubt they'll be too red, you could always darken them a bit with some polish.

The stow is a great boot from what I hear. If you don't want to shell out for trickers, grenson and loake also make good brogues. I prefer the tan color, but it's a little more delicate.

My first pair of NDC's came in the mail yesterday. The quality of materials and construction is amazing, but I think they might be a bit small. It feels tight in the toes, and they are physically shorter than other dress shoes/boots that fit me well. Unfortunately they were marked "final sale" and not returnable, so now have to decide whether I want to try to wear them and see if they stretch or put up on B&S and cut my losses now.....

The pair of NDC shoes I own are really narrow, but the length is perfect. I think the brand has weird sizing issues.
