I couldn't agree more. Top half is incongruous with the bottom half and the sneakers are out of place with this fit. I'm a shorts supporter, especially in the heat of summer and I've hemmed old ill-fitting, non-flattering bottom half pants into shorts with great results. With all due respect, the shorts here look to have just been hemmed from an ill-fitting pant without the needed alterations in length and width. Slimmer and shorter and maybe one pleat and a cuff would have done wonders for the fit and swapping the sneaks out for some canvas shoes and I'd be all in.

I intentionally did not want to go with the brown shoes yesterday as I have been wearing white pants with brown shoes earlier this week. Should probably find picture somewhere.
