I believe this is the case. I went into a local shoe repair shop today and had a chat with the guy. He was redoing a pair of shoes. It had rubber sole originally and he was doing a leather sole replacement as requested by the owner.
I actually went in there to talk about shoe care and maintenance with the guy, which leads me to ask you guys this....how do you care for your shoes/boots? Just wax every now and then?

I am dissapointed with my chromexcel wingtips too. The color is different than what I was expecting based on the pics on their website, I don't like it as much.Originally Posted by Shadeeq
