I took my new shoe to my local cobbler to get water proofed and conditioned and polished before I wore it.

After the first wore the leather seems cracked (as opposed to Creased). Is it because there was too much polish? or did the cobbler destroy the finish on my shoe? Or is this a odd case of creasing?

Depends on the sizes you're looking at. But six is hardly high drop.

Looking at overcoat and need some advice on size. My suits have 19-19.5" shoulder to shoulder measurements, and the overcoat I'm looking at has a shoulder to shoulder measurement of 21.75". Is this too wide? The chest and waist measurements are about where I think they should be...each about 2" larger than on suit coat. Thanks for any advice.

Is it possible for a tailor to fix bunching of the collar on my jacket? It looks like this: http://www.throughtherye.com/flusser/ch2part2.htm Go to the bottom, last picture re: jacket fit. I took it to one tailor and asked if he could let the jacket out some. He said no. I read this and apparently Flusser says tailors can fix it. Should I take it to another tailor to see if he's up to the task? I'd hate to have a suit I can't wear and I haven't been able to sell it yet.

First off, nice shoes.

I think it's a result of the waterproofing, maybe he used something excessively waxy? Don't know a whole lot about shoe care outside of routine oils/creams but that's what it seems like to me.

Anyway I have a question of my own: recently got my hands on a Canali blazer from Saks Fifth Ave.
Is there any difference between this and a mainline or Proposta?

You can get them in any GIRLS' accessory shop. Why not buy some nice pink knickers while you're out shopping FFS?

The clue is in the name. STYLE forum, not gay accessory bandwagon jumping forum.

Well, that wasn't a very gentlemanly post. Name juxtaposition there is baffling, no?

Woe: why not ask jkissi? That's his arm I believe, and he's a regular poster here. My thought however is that bangles as such should have some significance. Souvenir from a holiday in Africa, South America, or the Caribbean perhaps. Gift from a lady- (or gent-)friend, and so forth. Otherwise it seems too studied (not that anyone else would know). Luca Rubinacci wears similar, and I latently wonder what the back story is there.

This is something I've been thinking about a lot recently too; my wrists always feel conspicuously unadorned, and I'm not ostentatious enough to sport a gaudy watch.

Question:

Is the only difference, between a 38S and a 38R coat, the length of the sleeve and NOT the length of the coat?

Whoever told you that sarcasm was a useful tool in debate did you no favor, Ianiceman.

Is it possible to wear a beige/khaki trench coat with a black or a dark blue suit or do the colors not go well together?
What about wearing a dark blue trench coat with a black suit?
