late 90s interior design

stark white walls, the aforementioned hgtv look and dull mcmansion colors.
stainless steel, cheap tat from target, failed dyi projects
and exposed brick.

Frasier's apartment from the TV show comes to mind. I'd like to have an Eames chair. Late 90's would be Modern Contemporary? Beige colors. I like how his apartment looks, even if was made originally in the early 90's.

I imagine it looking better than painting one textured wall with bullnosed corners a darker espresso color than the rest of the McMansion.

HGTV was all about the accent wall.

I saw a lot of Aerons and Tolomeo lamps in home offices during that time.
