RE: those blue shoes, on the one hand I think they are really hideous, but on the other hand I admire the hell out of the thought and audacity that went into designing them.

Is there such a thing as monk strap spectators or lazyman spectators (preferably with faux lacing?)

I really like the pattern/design (I had never seen the EG Grenville before), as well as the Midnight calf. Just not crazy about how it was paired with navy suede. Imo, it would have looked much better with white or the lightest grey suede instead.
