EDIT : I guess it was the last pair too.

lol

I wear your old pair frequently. I know you were scrounging up for some other purchase -- and yeah it was obv. fortunate for me -- but I was thinking if I were you I'd find something else less awesome to sell. Like blood or *****.

I used to own the Polo/C&J version and sold them away on ebay (to someone I am pretty sure is a forumnite). Something like 5 or 6 years ago.

That was a bad call. So was selling the Polo/C&J Chawner (tan double buckle monkstrap captoe).

Those are probably my two biggest sales that I regretted.... (at the time, they were 2 and 3, but I quickly rectified my biggest mistake of selling the C&J Darlton/Marlow wingtip in shell by rebuying it 2 or 3 years ago).

I've got the Polo/C&J version of those boots. These new ones are Italian made and appear to be much sleeker looking than the Polo/C&Js. They also have different buckle hardware.
I'm not quite sure I understand why these new ones are $1500 though.

I kept my tan Chawner and Darlton wingtips. Those are two of my favorite pairs.
