Does Borrelli still sell suits in the US? Decorato no longer sells them-at least in San Francisco. Is Edmundo Marino still with them?

FAIK, the only Borrelli suits you would find at De Corato are the stragglers from last season. Horace in SF professes not to know where Borrelli can be found in the US going forward. On my side, I'm picking up a MTM navy 3-piece in the Milano boutique at the end of the month and will post pics.

Recently spoke with the buyer from L'Uomo in Montreal who had just returned from Italy and attended the Borrelli show. He said there was no shortage of wonderful tailored items but that Borrrelli, at least for now, is withdrawing from the US market and scaling back to regain control over their business operations and quality.

Makes sense to me. They rapidly over expanded in the US and the quality and brand suffered and now they are trying to fix the situation. Also, Signore Borrelli is no longer in jail.

Would you mind if I inquired how much you paid for it. Can you also get regular pants and not the slim narrow pants?

Why do you say they overexpanded in the US? Good to know that Signor Borrelli is out of jail.

I got the impression that alot of tailors left since the quality of the shirts have gone down as reported on these parts.
