Glad to hear you found yours. I found mine too when assembling mine. One day after the replacement part arrived

I didn't test fire this weekend due to family commitments, but did spend yesterday stripping and prepping for spraying. I'll be hitting it with the Aluma-Hyde tomorrow night! Then I settle in for the long wait to cure - even in South Texas heat people are saying I should wait 10 days before assembly.

Would be interesting to superimpose the CHL density map with voter affiliation.

I can't even say I'm surprised. The more I think of about it, Houston seems to be the most likely candidate, with Dallas/Ft. Worth in a close second.

In addition, I got to credit the DPS for the quick liscensing turn-around.

As some of you are doubtless aware, I am the editor of Gun World magazine, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. I am planning to retire in the near future. I should have retired tomorrow except that the guy they had hired to replace me died of a heart attack while eating a pizza at Shakey's on Memorial Day. We have been having trouble finding other good candidates to replace me.

The foremost criteria for the job would be a good, deep technical knowledge of firearms coupled with a reasonable degree of literary ability. Prior editorial and publishing experience would be a big plus. Although we would not rule out an off-site editor, being based in Southern California and being able to come into our Anaheim editorial offices would be another strong plus.

If you are interested in the job, please e-mail a copy of your resume and a cover letter to my supervisor, Doug Jeffrey, at [email protected]. You can PM me with any additional questions you may have.

I read elsewhere that you retired today. Happy retirement?
