^^^Big A, the wood grain also had me thinking Rolls when I saw the pic. Nice pics, I liked the combo you were wearing.

I think to pull this off you have to have all the trappings of fine anglo-saxon, Governor's Island pedigree. In other words, you need to wax your arms, otherwise it gives away that some ancestor might have bread with the "low people."

Two great examples % ... the first picture shows a good use of gray with the colors complementing and being pulled together.

In the second example, you can see numerous elements of blue being pulled in to pick off the pants.

Spoo has hardly any blue in his fit, thus my comments. I guess when its all said and done - i feel the root cause of some of the feedback Spoo gets on combination is around color coordination ... complementary and matching colors.
