I loved it. it was avangard, now he's totally free forming it. its hard though because the show doesn't have a true formula other than you know that they'll be standup and situational comedy, but this episode it got turned on its head (even the dramatic monologue with the chick) then breaking the barrier with the last scene.

spoiler alert: the last scene really was telling, because it showed that the blond was a very good actor and louie actually kinda seemed bummed that she was taking his direction and doing it so well (LOL like he's angry at her doing a good job at acting and how he hates it).

Well, poop. Ep 4 isn't on Hulu due to technical difficulties. I guess I'll be patient....

Wow, that was fast. I'm surprised. But I'll agree, it is indeed great news!

+1 The heckler episode was amazing, great way to address so many peoples' concerns about his 'acting' and hopefully people can just focus on the comedic substance.

I really liked The League last season, but for me It's Always Sunny has lost a lot of quality. So many of the gags seem forced, and often the acting just isn't that good any more. I'll probably still check it out, but last season was a big let-down overall for me.

The one I miss so very much is Testees. God that was a funny show. The one where they went blind is television gold.

Ya The League was infinitely better than I expected.

Always Sunny still the funniest show on tv

Louie, Rescue Me, and Sons of Anarchy just round it out

Louie's newly Lesbianized mother had me laughing like a marsupial.

Oh sweet Jesus, this show just keeps getting better. One thing that I think is really fitting is how many of the endings are just sudden and awkward; they really complement his style of standup. And while my mom is great, I know a lot of moms who generally fit the category he was talking about. That one had me in stitches almost from beginning to end.
