I was under the impression that everyone on Team StyleForum loved functional buttonholes. But then I was in DT and my friend holymadness said this:
I was taken aback because I thought, "Everyone likes them!" But I guess this is not the case. I think the reasons for liking them are pretty obvious: -Primarily, your garment doesn't have something that's "fake" -You can roll up your jacket sleeves, if need be The only reason I can think of for not liking them is to make alterations of the suit jacket arms easier in the future. But that seems like a very minor benefit. What else makes non-functional or partially functional buttonholes attractive?
I am against functional button holes.
