I try to encourage Deboise to whip his apprentices, the way Despos does with his.

No go.

Proprietor-tailors are a cruel, flinty breed.

He should take Carl-from-CEGO's class.

It is based on the class that they teach at the Andover Shop.

No mention of poor Des Merrion, the Yorkshire Tailor, I see. I wish him well and a successful comeback once he's out of the hoosegow.

Des must be due for parole or may have been released already. He always seemed to be a good bloke. It is a great pity that his hobby was criminalised by the last government.

The government actually wanted to extend the sentence to 5 years as they thought he had been treated too leniently, but I believe his son is quite ill and this was asked to be taken into consideration. Contrast this with Jon Venables, a child murderer released after what, 7 years, given a new identity then gets caught with child pornography on his computer. His sentence? 2 years. Yes., I repeat 2 years!!! Don't you just love the English legal system.
