Stunningly strange in a way I cant live without them.

Special make up from Allen Edmonds, Byron is discontinued, the Fifth Ave. is close but not quite the same.

If you do a special order it will run ~$450, make sure you request wheeling detail on the welt as it is no longer standard.

^Marlow is the slightly older name of the Darlton, in all the various styles.

Ha @ Moo One Shoe. It's probably as close as it will come. This has been a grail shoe for me for a long time.

These actually belong to me -- just took delivery of them last week. I'll post pictures of the completed product if I have a chance.

What do you suggest? Meißelartig? Quadratisch, praktisch, gut? Entartet?

Haha, that's really cool, a random bespoke item is posted on the interwebz and the owner occurs just within the next 24h

. I did actually see the finished shoe (beautiful btw.!) at my second visit; when I took the photo they were just preparing the pattern for the initials on the waist. How's the fit? Is it your first pair? (edit: I just remeber, it's not the first one)
