V-necks or A-shirt as an undershirt?

Should I wear an A-shirt or V-neck?

I noticed that some men feel it's more stylish to wear NO tee-shirts, but I despise this option. When you sweat, the perspiration adheres to your backside, and this feels cold/chilly. Also, it looks silly when your shirt has sweat on the back/front sides.

Do you think that A-shirts are stylish, mature, and functional (to remove/diffuse sweat, etc.)?

If it weren't for this steamy weather, I wouldn't wear anything under my dress shirt. That said, I have to, or I'd look like I'd wrestled a garden hose.

With a tie, maybe a sleeveless tshirt. V-necks just don't look right IMO, especially when they show through the dress shirt.

Please use the Search Thread function, BE. This question's been beaten to death.

Definitely A-shirts. I find them to be very functional and extremely comfortable.

It is not flattering for a man to show off undershirt, so I like to wear v necks, that way if I ever have my shirt undone any you still do not see my undershirt.

It's not flattering for a man to show off chest hair either....

********** with men makes a guy look gay, not his choices in clothing.

A shirts under dress shirts. V-necks under polos and casual shirts. Meets the need to not have a v-neck line under the dress shirts while also not showing t-shirt under casual shirts.

Consider both.
