I can eat 6 or even 9 a day, but how do you manage to eat 12?

That's pretty good considering most health and body forums get the same exact topic every week, and it's the same exact answer every week.

You're cheating yourself. If I ate egg whites only, I'd have to eat at least 2 dozen eggs, and then add extra virgin olive oil or something.

Short of that, Christopher Eggs sells Omega-3 eggs at regular grocery stores (I know Kroger carries them). As much fat as you're getting from eggs, might as well help your O3:O6 balance.

At first you have to force yourself to eat, and then it becomes natural. That's on top of steak, bacon, chicken, or whatever else you eat.

I'm sure eggs are healthier than the package of instant pudding, scoop of cocoa protein, and two cups whole milk I have taken up the habit of consuming in the middle of the afternoon.

I start every morning with eggs. I used to avoid them and would have oatmeal every morning, not anymore.

No problem for me--I have my own chickens, roaming around in a secure area. (And cooped at night.) My morning eggs are seriously fresh!

Eggs are good for you, including the yolk. Dietary cholesterol has almost no correlation to blood cholesterol, and theconnection between saturated fat consumption and heart disease is still up in the air. It's a good source of protein, and seems pretty filling. Do it.

+1. Once I started having eggs in the morning I noticed my energy and mood going up. I simply love waking up 10 minutes earlier to make a great breakfast and skim the paper.

Yes, every day now starts with a couple poached eggs on toast.

We should totally start posting our favorite egg recipes now.

My favorite was inspired by my multiple failures at trying to make an omelette, and then mixing the crappy omelette into scrambled fried eggs. right at the end before they're nice and brown, I throw in some shredded jack and cheddar cheese with plenty of cajun seasoning, mix it around a little bit til it's all nice and melted together, and bam. best **** ever. No milk involved in my scrambled eggs though. Just olive oil to fry it in the pan.

Plus, why the addition of all those grossly overpowering flavors?

Yeah just be careful you aren't paying too much for "free range" chicken eggs. From what I've heard, Free range just means the chickens have light and can see outside their coupes. not necessarily happy chickens frolicking through the meadows.... http://www.upc-online.org/freerange.html
