^ Looking good so far. He's got what, a minute and a half on Contador? A decent cushion at any rate.

We won't know until at least stage 14 when they get the Pyrenees. He has to take more time out of him before the penultimate stage to have a chance. The only mountain top finish in the Pyrenees is stage 17, it could all be decided on the Tourmalet.

As a danish resident, I am a Schlek fan, and I am excited to see them dual it out in the Pyrenees. That will be the measure of Andy Schlek. However, the burden is much greater on him than on Contador due to Andy's time trialing skills. He's young. It took Basso some years to become a good trialer.

Bjarne knows, the kid is under a lot of pressure and he will do all he can, i am sure, to prevent Schlek from self-destructing in the Pyrenees. If Andy can just stay even with Contador, there, it will be quite an accomplishment. But, perhaps, like the early days of the chicken in The Tour, he will surprise even his most ardent admirers against Contador on the spanish climbs (and hopefully not put in a chicken-like performance in the time trial).

Second place is "godt nok"

Maybe, he lost 1'45'' to Contador in the time trial last year. He needs at least a 2' lead on Contador before stage 19.
Stage 17 with the arrival on top of the Tourmalet will be the decisive one, but Contador looked better yesterday.

They do it on the track all the time, not to mention Robbie McEwen doing it to Stuart O'Grady in 2005. Renshaw should have been punished for blocking Tyler Farrar but his head-butts were a defensive move, Dean (without Farrar or anyone else on his wheel) came up and crowded Renshaw and put out his elbow. Renshaw head-butted to keep his line and not run into the barrier. Dean should have been penalized also.

Have you seen the video?

Pushing and jostling for the sprint but that final headbutt was just pure violence and should not be accepted in the TDF
