I've tried every cheap pen in existence and it can't be overstated how superior the Sanford uniball Onyx is to all other challengers. $2 and the world is yours.
Chemex + grinder + kettle. Grinder and kettle are from Hario. The kettle pours with more control than any others out there - it's the standard at better coffee shops. This setup makes the best home coffee I've been able to do (and much better than most coffee shops) and costs around $100 total.
Looks awesome. Totally trying this. I usually use this: http://www.hobotraveler.com/blogphot...ffeecooker.jpg
Looks like something that would be highly useful if one had, say, a sailboat with lots of topside teak, or if one wanted to do his own work on the bottom job (no edmorel).
