Chemex + grinder + kettle. Grinder and kettle are from Hario. The kettle pours with more control than any others out there - it's the standard at better coffee shops. This setup makes the best home coffee I've been able to do (and much better than most coffee shops) and costs around $100 total.

Waiter-style bottle opener.

Great, if you could find one properly engineered and crafted.

Looks like something that would be highly useful if one had, say, a sailboat with lots of topside teak, or if one wanted to do his own work on the bottom job (no edmorel).

That's what kids are for.

A RO sander Like a Festool Rotex has more general applicability, but when you want to remove a lot of material fast- this is the baby.
