Bar exam study continues. I haven't left my cave in days. It was 95 degrees today. Found a few minutes to snap a picture in between seemingly endless practice exams and video lectures. Nothing spectacular - but at least I got dressed today. It's been all pajamas the rest of the week.

I prefer 6" shorts - 9" maximum. Any longer and I think they begin to look silly. I understand this is not too common these days, as shorts have generally become cropped pants for men. I'll try mine with kneesocks next time.

No, just try longer shorts man. The hair + soft knee combo is not working.

But maybe - maybe - kneesocks may work.

Damn, you pull this off really well. Cheers!

I brought out my light(er) green pants today (chinolinos). Too hot to take pics though.

+1

Longer lengths belong at Gap or <shudder> Abercrombie

It's actually far more common than you would believe. A few weeks ago in Milan, all the shorts in stores were 1-3" above the knee, and I bought current season Incotex shorts in a similar length yesterday - with cuffs. If you prefer this length there are certainly plenty of options.

Agree about cropped pants for men, but that's only in the US.

It was a bit of hyperbole for sure. I picked them up online. No physical stores (BB excepted - but I am not about to pay $70 for a pair of shorts) carries anything shorter than a 9", from what I can remember.

Hey Moo - I'll give you the fact that the socks definitely ruin the party. Running out of non-white pairs because I'm wearing them to work everyday. Bad judgment on my part, I'm taking that pic off.

However, I don't particularly see a problem with the paisley tie + gingham shirt + jeans. It's definitely not one of my best, but at worst it falls under 'needs improvement', IMO. Perhaps you could clarify?

On a related note, I've never been able to get love for that tie on Styleforvm

I was just going to criticize the tie choice but I see it's already a sensitive subject.
