The numbers are only as misleading as any other racial demographic data to be found in census information. Which, by the way is pretty much the only data available. In other words, Hispanic doesn't neccesarily mean you are or aren't white. Which is why I listed the number for "whites" and not Hispanics. Its a more appropriate benchmark.
