Maybe its the rugged style but Trickers always look well made and finished IMHO.

Did they remake after the first fitting or after the sole had been put on? I have wide feet too and I had Tony make adjustments after wearing the shoes for about a year. I was hoping that the leather would stretch enough on their own but they didn't. The shoes fit much better now after the adjustments. For the 2nd pair, Tony suggested a soft square would improve the fit. The fitting for the 2nd pair seemed fine. There were more adjustments required during the fitting for the 1st pair.

I suspect the sharp squared toe is less forgiving to people with wide feet. For people with wide feet, it might be wiser to go for the softer toe for improved fit.

Wow, I may now need to re-think my options regarding double monks again.
