I absolutely love the sorbet colored diagonal strip tie!

Only find today was a forest green Brooks knit silk tie... In the third store I looked through. On a sidenote, does anybody want me to pick them up a few pairs of Allen Edmonds tassel loafers in 6B?

Hi all,
Had some good scores today:
Burberry Prorsum suit--took a while to find the pants. Super 100s, kinda heavy. If my measurements are correct, it is a sz 52, 46X31 pants. Are big sizes easy to move? Maybe someone will trade for a nice suit in my size ( 42R, 36x30 pants)?
Alan Flusser blazer, 41
2 Brooks Brs blazers
1 Ralph Ralph Lauren Blazer
1 Zanetti silk & wool blazer.

Will post pix later.

And 1 question: there is an old Zegna 100% silk herringbone blazer at a thrift store, been there for like 3 months. Is it worth getting to flip? I think it is sz 46. Some of the "bones" are a little knotty or fuzzy. No stains. The bones are offwhite/yellow and black/brown.

It's a little tougher to move big sizes like 52 and 46W trousers, but there is a market for sure. As far as the Zegna, if it's only a few bucks, then it's worth trying to flip. I personally don't like Zegna products very much, but they sure do sell!

I bought a really nice Armani shirt yesterday and have a question about it.
It looks very new and reccent and in perfect condition. The name on the
brand tag at the top has been crossed out. Is this done when an article
is returned? Is there a reason?

Usually to prevent returns as it is sold on discount they don't want you to buy it then come back and get a refund for the recommended retail price.

For my body type (skinny, 150lbs) the suits don't fit very well OTR. I've noticed that Zegna suits look much better on bigger people. That probably makes NO sense, but I've never been able to figure out why. Its gotta be the cut or something.

yeah you have to have pretty big sholders to pull off their look. There are a alot of suit makers aimed at the smaller than 36" chest crowd though which i belive you are.

dior, raf simons, thom browne come to mind.

How can you tell the 'good' Alan Flusser from the garbage sold at Stein Mart?
